The Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force (IHRTF) organizes a biennial Summit on Hunger and Food Insecurity. The Hunger Summit is held in the Treasure Valley. The IHRTF convenes the state’s faith leaders, charitable emergency food providers, state and local government, health providers, advocacy groups, business and industry, and community members.
IIRAH helps with the Hunger Summit in a couple of ways:
- Hosting one of the session tracks. IIRAH usually leads a track that focuses on advocacy.
- Coordinating the Summit Scholarship program. To encourage attendance by individuals across Idaho, IIRAH sponsors scholarships that help with registration and travel expenses. Please consider donating to the Hunger Summit Scholarship Fund.
